Our Taphouse is only open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In Washburn, Tuesday nights seem like the perfect time to get a game night going at the Taphouse so we're doing a little research to see if there's interest.

Author Matt Janzen will speak about "State of Craft Beer" His book features highlights of his unique journey through Wisconsin. He has captured the people and places behind the state's extensive craft beer industry, including Bo Bélanger of the South Shore Brewery.
Books will be available for purchase. Event is free to the public. Give a gift to the Vaughn Library or join/renew your membership to the Friends of the VPL and be eligible for a drawing to win a signed copy of Matt's book.
Purchase tickets for hors d'oeuvres and a variety of craft beer samples from the South Shore Brewery. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the event. Call or stop by the Vaughn Library 715-682-7060 to pick up or reserve tickets. Proceeds will benefit the Vaughn Public Library.

Every October 2000ish marathon and half-marathon runners and their families come to the Chequamegon Bay area for the annual WhistleStop race that takes place during the day on Saturday. Saturday Night, WhistleStop marathon runners and area residents dance the night away while sampling a variety of microbrews and area mead wines at our Blues and Brews Festival . We're happy to host 22ish breweries and meaderies in the heated tent on the Bay Area Civic Center parking lot. Concessions with great food and drink will be available all night long, featuring our South Shore Brewery beers.

We brewed up a great event with songwriting duo, Hoff Stevens, at our Taphouse to promote their new CD release, "Hoff Stevens".
Spend the day with Head Brewer, Bo Bélanger, and his crew to make a batch of South Shore beer.
