What is a Beer Agent?

Beer Agents are the face of South Shore Brewery at on- and off-premise beer tastings, pint nights, festivals, beer dinners, similar events, and social media. Beer Agents enthusiastically represent South Shore Brewery, our beer, and our brewing process to the end consumer, retailers, bar personnel and beer enthusiasts. As a beer agent, you're responsible for managing all aspects of events in your area. This is a fun, part-time position that requires an outgoing personality, professionalism, self-starting, organization and commitment.

A Beer Agents primary goal is building recognition and interest for the South Shore Brewery brand, which increases sales and deepens the love and loyalty to our brand. By encouraging event participants to sample South Shore beer and by accurately conveying what makes our brewery unique and special, you'll get people excited about all things South Shore beer!

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older and pass a background check.
An eager willingness and excitement to:

• Work evenings and/or weekends.
• Attend annual training sessions.
• Learn all there is to know about the South Shore Brewery brand.
• Represent South Shore Brewery in a professional and lively manner.

Knowledge of draft dispensing equipment is preferred, but not required.
