This stout is South Shores Brewery’s interpretation of an Irish style stout. Traditionally Irish stouts being more roasty than sweet, we changed the rules on this stout by adding lactose (milk sugar), and a hint of house toasted rye malt to round this ale out. And to set this beer apart we added locally roasted cold press coffee from Kickapoo Coffee in Bayfield, Wisconsin. We gave this beer a nice, creamy texture by pouring on nitrogen, like most Irish style stouts. In Short, an Irish style stout with milk sugar and locally roasted coffee.
